28th of June – Constitution Day of Ukraine

In 1991, Ukraine appeared on the World Map. The 28^th of June 1996 is the most important historic date in the life of modern Ukraine. This day the effective Constitution of Independent Ukraine, which is the Fundamental Law, was adopted by the 5th Session of the Supreme Soviet of Ukraine. It was an overnight parliamentary session of June 27-June 28, 1996 that is now called “the constitutional night.” Then the Constitution was set by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. 26th of June – International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking

Drugs are one of the most important problems nowadays. Drugs ruin lives and societies and cause crimes. International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking was established by the United Nations in 1987. In December 2004 by the European Council was approved the EU Drugs Strategy (2005-2012): “Do drugs control your life? Your life. Your community. No place for drugs.” The main aim of the anti drug program is to protect the wellbeing of each person and of the society in general, to care for public health, to suggest an advanced level of security for people and integrated access to the drugs problem. 22nd of June – the Day of Remembrance and Mourning

The 22nd of June 1941 is one of the most tragic days in the history of Russia and other countries of the former USSR. “This is the bitterest date in Russian history. It was and it still remains the bitterest day.” The 22nd of June is officially known as the Day of Remembrance and Mourning that marks the beginning of the Great Patriotic War. During the Grief Day mostly all countries of former Soviet Union fly the flags at half mast and people put flowers to the eternal lights and monuments to the soldiers who were lost in the Great Patriotic War.
